The Master
Carlo Fusco
His professional life began when he was ust 12 years old, working in one of the first pasta makers to use automated machinery for pasta production. In 1956 he moved to France, where he trained French pasta makers. In 1970, he returned to Italy where he worked with various pasta makers until he met the Sassano family with whom he went on to start a new project: teaching the tradition to new generations, to make artisanal pasta with bronze die plates and drying at low temperatures.
